Terms & Conditions

Workshops

These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants of workshops, offered by Your Next Step. By booking a program, you agree to the following:

1. Payment & Fees

Direct Booking Programs (via Stripe/TidyCal or similar):
  • The full program fee is due immediately at the time of booking.
  • A non-refundable portion of €250 applies to all cancellations.
  • The remaining balance is refundable according to the cancellation policy below.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit card) or other methods provided at checkout.
Application-Based Programs:
  • Once accepted, a non-refundable deposit of €500 is due within 7 days to confirm your spot.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 6 weeks before the program start.
  • If a payment plan is agreed, the first installment is non-refundable, and each weekend of the program must be fully paid before that weekend begins.
  • Payments can be made via Stripe (credit/debit card) or bank transfer. If your employer covers the program, we are happy to issue an invoice.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • A non-refundable portion as defined above applies in all cases.
  • Cancellation up to 8 weeks before program start: 80% refund of the remaining balance.
  • Cancellation up to 4 weeks before program start: 50% refund of the remaining balance.
  • Later cancellations: no refund.
  • Your place may be transferred to another participant, subject to prior agreement with the organizer.
  • If the organizer cancels due to force majeure (e.g., severe weather, illness, regulations), you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future program.

3. Safety & Liability

  • All activities are voluntary, and no technical mountaineering skills are required. Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, and participants join at their own responsibility.
  • The organizer is not liable for accidents, injury, or property loss, except in cases of gross negligence.
  • A safety briefing will be provided at the start of each program.

4. Health & Participation

  • By registering, participants confirm they are in adequate physical and mental condition to take part in moderate hikes (2–4 hours).
  • Medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements must be communicated in advance.
  • The organizer reserves the right to ask a participant to step back from an activity if their safety or the group’s safety is at risk.

5. Accommodation & Meals

  • Programs include shared lodging unless otherwise stated (single room upgrades may be available at extra cost).
  • Meals are provided from dinner on the first day to lunch on the last day. Dietary needs can be accommodated if communicated beforehand.
  • Travel to and from the program location is not included.

6. Confidentiality & Respect

  • Personal stories and experiences shared by participants are confidential.
  • Mutual respect, inclusivity, and professionalism are expected at all times.
  • The organizer may ask participants who behave disruptively or disrespectfully to leave the program without refund.

7. Photography & Media

  • The organizer reserves the right to take photos and/or short video recordings during the program for documentation and promotional purposes.
  • Participants who do not wish to appear in such material must inform the organizer in writing before the program.

8. Force Majeure

The organizer is not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events outside of reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, government regulations).

9. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Amtsgericht Crailsheim, Schloßplatz 1, 74564 Crailsheim, Germany.
